General Price List  

These prices are effective as of January 1, 2024 and are subject to change without notice.

 Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

 The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers.  You may choose only the items that you desire.  However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services.  If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. “The appropriate Next of Kin or Agent for Advanced Health Care Directive of the deceased who is handling the funeral arrangements, according to California state law is entitled to receive, prior to the drafting of any contract, a copy of any agreement that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the deceased, and that is in possession of the funeral establishment.”

BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR, STAFF AND OVERHEAD $925.00

  Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs.

  EMBALMING: (Except in certain special cases, law does not require embalming.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with viewing.  If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.)  $600.00

OTHER PREPARATION OF THE BODY:

▪ Refrigeration (California law requires refrigeration of a not embalmed body after 24 hours)

Storage charges will be $25.00 per day beginning after the 7th day of storage for cremation and for burial.

 TRANSPORTATION:

▪ Transfer of deceased from place of death to mortuary (within 25-miles of our office in San Diego County).  $400.00

 Additional distance will be charged at $4.00 per mile one way.

 FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME:

$4,500.00

▪ This charge includes removal of remains, initial services of staff, necessary authorizations, embalming, transit permit and shipping container, transport via Affordable Funeral Solutions interstate travel service, (continental U.S.- only). This charge does not include; Air Fare, local ceremonies, casket, or death certificates.

RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME:

$3,000.00

▪ This charge includes initial services of staff; transportation from airport to receive; transportation by van to a cemetery within a 25-mile radius (Additional distance will be charged at $4.00 per mile), for immediate burial. This charge does not include; casket, rites, ceremony, visitation, funeral ceremonies, or a disposition permit.

  DIRECT CREMATIONS: $925.00

▪ If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.  Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard composition materials (with or without an outside covering).  We offer one alternative container.  (Use of cremation casket requires an additional cremation fee of $400.00 in addition to the cost of the casket, see casket price list.)

▪ Charge for direct cremations (without ceremony) includes:  Removal of remains, transportation to crematory, refrigeration, initial services of staff, cremation fee, and cardboard container (as required by statute). 

▪ If the deceased weighs 300-400 lbs. Direct Cremation is $1,300.00

▪ If the deceased weighs 400-500 lbs. Direct Cremation is $1,700.00

▪ If the deceased weighs 500lb. and above Direct Cremation is $2,000.00

Direct Cremation $600.00 to $2,800.00

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; removal of remains; transportation to crematory; necessary authorizations [and cremation] °.

  INFANTS AND CHILDREN PACKAGE PRICES:

▪ Cremation - Arrangement conference, transfer of remains to mortuary, and refrigeration.    

Age: Fetal to 1 Year Old $600.00

Age: 1 to 10 Years Old $700.00                                               

▪ Burial - Age 10 Years & Younger $825.00

▪ Burial - Age: Fetal to 1 Month Includes; Arrangement conference, Transfer of remains to mortuary, Refrigeration, Casketing/Dressing, Graveside Service, Arrangements with cemetery, Delivery of casket to cemetery. (no viewing, casket, or embalming, death certificates, or county permit, included) $750.00                                          

IMMEDIATE BURIAL:  $2,500.00

▪ Includes; Removal of remains, transportation to cemetery (within SD County.), refrigeration and casketing and basic services of funeral director, staff and overhead (Dressing not Included).  

▪ Does not include; Death Certificates, State tax, cash advances, disposition permit, dressing, hearse and any rites or ceremonies at the graveside or elsewhere.

▪ Immediate burial with container provided by the purchaser (all such containers must meet any applicable state or cemetery requirements.)
